Today we remember Laura Ingalls Wilder because of the Little House books she wrote about her life as a pioneer. Many readers are curious about when Laura Ingalls Wilder was born and died. It was actually on February 10, 1957, just three days after her 90th birthday.
Laura Elizabeth Ingalls was born to Charles and Caroline Ingalls in Pepin, Wisconsin on February 7, 1867.
On August 25, 1885, Laura Ingalls married Almanzo Wilder in De Smet, Dakota Territory. (This is now South Dakota.)
Laura Ingalls Wilder died on February 10, 1957 at her home in Mansfield, Missouri. She was buried next to Almanzo in the local cemetery.
