The Laura Ingalls Wilder Companion wouldn't be a book without the help of so many people. 

I typed the words sitting alone at my computer, but so many people helped make this book come to life. Wilder experts, historians, and others helped with my research. Friends, family, and critique partners supported me and improved my own writing during the six years between the idea to the book.
